ANSTO User Meeting 22-24 November 2017

The first ANSTO User Meeting provides a unique forum for members of the Australian Synchrotron and Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering communities, as well as users of ANSTO’s Centre for Accelerator Science facility, to come together and showcase their cutting-edge research.

This user-led meeting is organised by members of the Australian Synchrotron User Advisory Committee (AS UAC) and the Australian Neutron Beamline Users Group (ANBUG).  Abstract submission is now open and will close 6th October.

It will be held at the National Centre for Synchrotron Science in Melbourne.

Call for Applications for the AONSA Young Research Fellow 2018

Dear AONSA Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Call for Applications for AONSA  Young Research Fellowship (YRF) 2018. This is the fourth round of the  AONSA YRF after the very successful launching of AONSA YRF 2015, the following 2016 and 2017.

The deadline is July 31st this year.

We emphasized that “Applicants need to communicate with the contact person before submitting application form.” this year.

Please distribute this your colleagues and encourage talented young
scientists to apply for the Fellowship (These will be posted on AONSA
homepage as well). Your help to attract talented young scientists
into the Program is essential to make the AONSA YRF 2018 successful. All
your efforts for this purpose will be greatly appreciated.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Hosting
Facility Directors of J-PARC, ANSTO and HANARO for their continuing
strong support for this fellowship (which is one of major activities of AONSA and a very important investment for the future of neutron science in Asia-Oceania region.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Kazu Yamada
