About ANBUG

ANBUG is a not-for- profit society representing the Australian and New Zealand neutron scattering community. It also welcomes the many other international users who conduct experiments using the Australian infrastructure. It engages with ANSTO on the provision of high-quality neutron scattering facilities in Australia; presents the collective viewpoint to government and international scientific associations. Our activities involve: advocating your views to neutron sources, government and international associations; recognising excellence through the ANBUG awards; contributing to the allocation of beam-time through the ACNS Program Advisory Committee; engaging with ANSTO on the provision of high-quality neutron scattering facilities and sponsoring student travel to conferences
